Well not much happened today, We had a "Thanksgiving" potluck last night at work.....i made green bean casserole and banana nut bread....i'm guessing the casserole was good because there wasn't any left...but the bread was still on the table when i left for home....(the crust was a little dry because my oven has altzheimers)  Anyway.. I found a pattern for a doily that i'm going to make with the rest of my baby sock yarn  I'm taking it with me to work tonight.  I belive I'll make it and let it be a "barbie" blanket for my neice for Christmas..we were planning on buying her a barbie anyway :lol:

oh yeah i guess something did happen....ROBERT GOT A PART TIME JOB WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO for those of you who don't know, thats my hubby and his blog (over in my blog links) is "its a man's world" go congradulate him!!

:lol:  so i didn't start the sock last night...but i did make a nifty hook cover to stick on the end of my crochet hook when i'm not using it (so it doesn't stick into my yarn or other stuff in my bag)  I also added in my new skien of yarn with NO help this time!! woohoo go me go me!! LOL  I do belive i'm going to NOT make the other baby sock and use the one i did make as an ornamate on our Christmas Tree for the baby.....i want to do toe up socks for both of them now....the ones I just decided not to make "just" fit the baby and I dont wanna configure them in a bigger size for later (*yeah i'm being lazy here*)  Anyway thats it from my side of the monitor..see yall later :)

:D  I made a baby sock!! and its the right size and length too!! I'll be making the other one tomorrow for the set hehe!!  (then i'll have had actually finished a project....besides a potholder!!)  I'm almost thru my 2nd skein of yarn for tahra's blanket, i'm gonna get to the end of the skein probally thursday when i work on it again, then i'll put it up until i go to work thursday night and get help working in the new yarn, since she did it so fast last time i really didn't see how to do it....Laura is my bestest teacher ever LOL

Of course, i didn't follow the pattern COMPLEATLY because A.  I dont have the yarn it called for, and B.  I don't have the hook it called for...For your Convience I'll paste the pattern below, although its easily found under the "feet need socks" logo to the right.

:lol: hey i got overtime today.......AND I GET TO KEEP IT......sales must have really been up LMFAO.  I stayed at work until 8:40 today and I was supossed to get off at 7..so i got an hour and 40 minutes plus whatever i alredy had for rest of the week.....so i can get a Christmas layaway out payday :wink:

I've joined a webring of crocheters (pending approval) and I've found some really cute buttons off some other blogs, (that were for public use)  Anyone may use my buttons, however if you do, download them to your own computer and use your own web hosting to host them.  I also created the blog buttons to the right for myself, "a mans world", "anastacia", and "wiccan momma" although they were just simple ms Paint creations.  I would like a progress bar to use for my projects, however the only one i found, was a "microshock thingy" and it would not load on my computer.

If anyone knows where i can get a FREE progress bar, that will work on my page, i'd appreciate the link :D

Well robert left a bite mark on my neck the other day......so i got teased and teased at work that night....but I guess i was a good girl, i didn't mention all the marks they COULDN'T see...lmfao

It did however make me come up with my very own quote (yeah i know it takes a lot for me to put thought into anything these days)

Yeah I know, its a boring subject....its a boring life too, and the title of my blog warned ya before ya got here.......We get right under 500 bucks a month (now) for food money,  and its hard to spend 500 bucks even with buying a bunch of junk we really really don't need :?:  Not that i'm complaining at all, dont get me wrong...i am NOT NOT NOT NOT complaining, but it does make our shopping trips go towards the LOOONG side.  useally about 2 hours or so, then in a couple of days we go to the other grocery store in town and buy meat.....I hate buying walmart meat....something about the way its packaged its just not.....right.... do'nt get me wrong, there is not a thing in the world wrong with walmart meat...im just a freak thats all...its one of my quirks...if i can't "poke" the meat (or fresh fruit/veggies) I do'nt buy it.  Ive also got several other habits that get me labeled as a freak but they typically aren't rated pg :P

Is this week ever gonna end???? (my weekend is tuesdays and wenesdays btw)  It seems like its going and going and going and going and going ya know??  I slept 10 hours today thanks to Robert, he let me go back to sleep for a few more hours after the time I told him to wake me up, and I"m glad because i was seriously not able to wake up at that time.  Thats what i get for missing sleep yesterday to take the kids to see santa i guess.  anyway thats it from this part of the www

NOt really but it got you to my blog didn't it~~

I'm working on a cross stitch i started last year, that I found yesterday again LOL if you go in walmart's craft section, its the one with the baby feet, its really cute....i get to finish this one, then buy the colours over and do 2 more for all 3 kids (so i'll be finished when they finish college)  I'm still working on tahra's blanket but i stopped it for a little while to finish the cross stitch....all i have left is the feet and all the backstitching so it shouldn't take me more than a couple three more days or so.  The kids went and saw santa today........last year tahra wouldn't sit on his lap at first, so i had to take the picture with her, but this year she and eddie sat on his lap together and it was sooooooo cute.  I'll hook my scanner up later and add the photo maybe....sometime before Christmas anyway

I voted, Of course i had to read one of the proposed amendments like 20 times before i was sure what i was voting for.  IF you didn't go vote, tough luck, you can't bitch about what goes on in the country...and dont give me that b.s. "i don't wanna vote because i'll get jury duty" crap either, because i'm not buying that crap.  It's a part of being an Americian, deal with it or try living elsewhere! (yes I am in a very bitchy mood, dont like it, leave me a message and i'm sure i'll have something to say about that too)

Ok political crap over, I get to go watch Robert bowl for me today since i hurt my leg at work 2 days (nights) ago......i walked into a steel flat cart, and it didn't move...i caught the corner going full speed and it hurt like HELL.  The words I said couldn't have been stopped if God himself walked thru our backroom, much less the manager or anyone else.

Thats all the bitching i have for this day so far, besides the fact that ive been awake since 4am because my kid kicked us out of bed LOL
